TrimCraft Trim

TrimCraft® Cornice System Overview

TrimCraft is a complete engineered wood cornice package composed of trim, soffit and ceiling panels. Originally manufactured as a premium quality alternative to solid wood trim materials, it now extends the same exceptional results and durability to porches, entryways, overhangs and a variety of decorative accents.

Dimensioned like traditional wood, TrimCraft cuts and nails with the same tools and techniques framers have used for years, with one significant improvement. No wasted time and effort culling bad material, sawing off defects or trying to paint over or repair unsightly resin spots. TrimCraft is a real productivity booster.

Each trim board is sixteen feet of consistently useable material. It is factory primed for fast, efficient painting and available plowed for tight-fitting, sag-free soffits. Each board is also manufactured with one cedar-textured face and one smooth face to provide the widest possible architectural flexibility and material efficiency.

TrimCraft soffit and ceiling panels beautifully match the appearance and quality of TrimCraft trim to deliver a complete cornice package that perceptively increases the value and curb appeal of any home.

Environmentally responsible, it is made entirely of wood byproducts of southern pine sawmills. This raw material is refined into small particles, mixed with various wet ingredients and cooked until it is reduced to a fibrous pulp. The fiber is then formed into a thick, coarse mat and drained of its moisture.

The mat is trimmed, placed with several others in a large multi-opening press and compressed under heat and pressure to increase its density and create any surface features required.

After cooling, TrimCraft is cut to its final dimensions, factory primed and packaged.

Sold to builders, remodelers and consumers through a variety of building material dealers and homecenters, it has been a popular and cost-efficient construction material since the early nineties.
