DIBOLL, Texas -- Temple-Inland is pleased to introduce ComfortGuard™, a new interior gypsum board manufactured with our TemShield mold-protection system.

ComfortGuard’s enhanced mold-resistant and water-resistant core and facers have been verified independently as per ASTM D3273, the standard test of mold resistance. ComfortGuard, featuring the TemShield mold protection system, scored a 10 of a possible 10 in laboratory evaluations.
ComfortGuard is available in 48" and 54" widths and 8-, 10-, and 12-foot lengths. Two thicknesses are available: standard 1/2" and fire-resistant 5/8".
ComfortGuard gypsum board is certified in accordance to ISO 14021 standards to have recycled material content. All certified products feature a gypsum core sandwiched between recycled facers, and ComfortGuard is available with up to 95% certified recycled content for environmental “green” requirements. This certified material composition can contribute toward recycled material credits in the LEED rating system as well as other rating systems.
