Designed from the ground up to be a highly effective sound solution, simply applying ComfortGuard Sound-Deadening Board enables you to create assemblies with impressive STC ratings ranging from 50-70. No metal in the middle means it’s especially easy to install – and as with all of our ComfortGuard products – it features the TemShield® mold-protection system.
ComfortGuard Abuse-Resistant (AR) Gypsum Board is mold- and moisture-resistant and has an extra-durable face paper to withstand scuffs and abrasions in high-traffic areas.
ComfortGuard Impact-Resistant (IR) Gypsum Board offers the same mold- and moisture-resistance, plus it features special backing to keep impacts from actually penetrating the wall cavity.
