Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) has awarded certification to Temple-Inland Fiberboard products, including regular fiberboard sheathing, QuietBrace®, SoundChoice® and FiberBase® HD based on the use of recovered and recycled materials in the manufacture of the engineered wood product. Fiberboard products manufactured at Temple-Inland’s Diboll, Texas fiber products operation have been certified to contain at least 85% recycled pre-consumer wood fiber on a dry weight basis.
Temple-Inland fiberboard products are manufactured from the reclaimed residue of multiple sawmills, which not only keeps materials out of landfills, but also helps us achieve maximum usability from every tree that is harvested.
